# GEO Dashboards and Analytics Tools: What to Compare

A useful GEO dashboard shows where a brand appears, which sources support the answer and what work could close the gaps. The score is only useful if you can inspect its evidence. Choose a product around your buyer questions and execution needs rather than an unexplained star rating.

## A practical shortlist

| Product | Reason to evaluate it | What to verify in the selected plan |
|---|---|---|
| Snezzi | Tracking connected to research, content, refresh and outreach workflows | Engine coverage, cadence, approvals and whether managed work is purchased separately |
| Profound | Answer-engine monitoring and Agents workflows | Prompt limits, credits, engine access and reporting controls |
| AthenaHQ | Visibility monitoring and optimization workflow | Supported engines, recommendations and implementation responsibilities |
| AirOps | Content and AI discovery workflows | Research inputs, review controls, integrations and measurement |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | A visibility index plus custom prompt tracking | Which dataset you need and how checks are counted |
| Otterly AI | Dedicated AI search monitoring and GEO audits | Prompts, selected engines and audit scope |

This is a fit-based shortlist, not a measured performance ranking. Product descriptions were checked against public vendor information on September 10, 2026. Snezzi publishes this guide.

## Understand what the metrics count

**Brand mentions:** answers naming your company or a verified alias. Inspect the answer to distinguish a recommendation from a neutral or negative reference.

**Citations:** links to a page or domain in the answer's source list. A citation to your blog does not necessarily recommend your product. Third-party citations can explain which publishers influence the category.

**Prompt coverage:** the share of relevant questions where the brand appears. Separate product selection, alternatives, comparisons, pricing and educational questions. A broad total can conceal a gap in the questions closest to a purchase.

**Share of voice:** a relative metric whose formula varies by vendor. Confirm its denominator, whether it counts mentions or recommendations, and whether an answer naming several brands contributes to several counts.

**Referrals and conversions:** visits and selected events observed after an identifiable AI referral. These measure a different stage from answer visibility and cannot reveal every buyer influenced by an AI answer.

There is no directly observable universal score for how heavily all language models trust a source. Treat a dashboard's authority score as its own method or proxy unless its definition demonstrates otherwise.

## Evaluate Snezzi's two offers separately

[Snezzi Platform](/pricing/) lets your team run the workflow itself, including MCP and CLI access. It connects prompt and citation monitoring with research, content creation, refresh work and AI referral measurement. Managed execution adds specialist delivery under a separate scope.

As checked September 10, 2026, Platform pricing is $500/month or $5,000/year, with 200 tracked prompts and 15 articles per month. The offer includes a 7-day assisted trial. Tracking is weekly by default, with daily tracking available; managed execution starts at $1,999/month. Check current terms and the responsibility for each deliverable before buying.

## Compare current competitor capabilities fairly

[Profound](https://www.tryprofound.com/pricing) includes Agents alongside monitoring, so describing it as a reporting-only product would miss part of its offer. [AthenaHQ](https://athenahq.ai/) also describes optimization and citation-source workflows. Confirm what is automated and what the team must execute.

[AirOps](https://www.airops.com/) is worth evaluating when content operations are central to the decision. [Ahrefs Brand Radar](https://ahrefs.com/brand-radar) distinguishes its visibility index from custom prompts. [Otterly AI](https://otterly.ai/) provides monitoring and GEO audits. These are reasons to test the products, not proof that one will outperform the others for your brand.

## Run a comparison you can trust

1. Use the same buyer questions, country and language.
2. Separate prompts naming your brand from unbranded discovery questions.
3. Compare the same engines and distinguish their data-collection methods.
4. Open raw answers and cited URLs for a sample of positive and negative scores.
5. Check aliases for ambiguous company names and confirm competitor identities.
6. Record missing or empty answers separately from a valid answer that omits the brand.
7. Inspect the action produced by a gap: a specific page, refresh, technical fix or source opportunity.
8. Test your conversion event configuration before using revenue language in a report.

## Turn a dashboard finding into work

If an alternative query repeatedly cites detailed competitor pages, create a factual alternatives page with a comparison table and primary sources. If it cites a calculator, inspect its inputs, method and output before building a better resource. If your own page is cited but the product is not recommended, check whether the page explains the relevant capability and whether independent sources support the claim.

Publish the work, record the date and compare later runs on a stable question set. The objective is useful evidence that makes the brand eligible for relevant answers. A dashboard helps direct and measure the work; it does not guarantee a mention or sale.
