Yes, the converter correctly identifies Google Docs headings (Title, Heading 1-6) and converts them to Markdown heading syntax (# through ######). Bold text becomes \*\*bold\*\*, italic becomes \*italic\*, and other inline formatting like strikethrough and underline are preserved where Markdown supports them.

Google Docs tables are converted to Markdown table syntax with proper column separators and header rows. Simple tables convert cleanly. However, tables with merged cells or complex formatting may require minor manual adjustments since Markdown tables support a simpler structure than Google Docs tables.

When you copy from Google Docs, images are typically included as references in the clipboard HTML. The converter will create Markdown image syntax with the available source URLs. However, the images may reference Google's servers. For permanent use, you should download the images separately and update the Markdown paths.

Comments and suggestions from Google Docs are not included when you copy and paste content. They exist as metadata outside the document's HTML content. If you need to preserve comments, export the Google Doc as HTML first, which may include comment references, and then paste that HTML into this tool.
