How do I get a webpage's HTML? There are several ways to get a webpage's HTML: 1) Right-click on the page and select 'View Page Source' (or press Cmd/Ctrl+U), then copy all the HTML. 2) Open browser DevTools (F12), go to the Elements tab, right-click the element and select 'Copy > Copy outerHTML'. 3) Select the content you want on the page, right-click, and copy it directly. Does it remove navigation and scripts? Yes, the converter automatically strips out script, style, nav, footer, header, aside, and form elements before converting to Markdown. This means you get just the main content of the page without any of the boilerplate navigation, ads, or interactive elements. Can I convert any website? You can convert the HTML of any website. Simply view the page source or copy the HTML content and paste it into this tool. The converter works with any valid HTML regardless of the website it came from. Note that you need to manually copy the HTML; the tool does not fetch URLs directly. What about JavaScript-rendered content? This tool converts the raw HTML you provide. If a website renders its content using JavaScript (single-page applications, dynamic content), the page source may not contain the actual content. In that case, use the browser DevTools to copy the rendered HTML from the Elements panel, which includes all dynamically loaded content. Does it preserve images and links? Yes, images are converted to Markdown image syntax !\[alt text\](url) and links are converted to \[link text\](url). The original URLs are preserved. Note that relative URLs will remain relative; you may need to manually update them to absolute URLs if you plan to use the Markdown outside the original site's context.
